Position Overview

Assembler – Air-conditioned Energy Systems (AMS), Full-time, 6 : 00 A.M. – 2 : 30 P.M.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and understand assembly prints, bill of materials, ECOs, and assembly processes.
• Assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products using various tools and equipment.
• Work with adhesives and chemicals used in the assembly process.
• Use computer workstations for record-keeping and testing purposes.
• Perform electronic testing on final assemblies using test equipment.
• Become cross-trained on functions and products within the department.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure high-quality products are shipped.
• Adapt to a variety of manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Lift up to 40 pounds consistently.
• Maintain a neat work area following 5S guidelines.
• Follow Carrier Excellence & EH&S practices per Det-Tronics / Carrier policy.
• Participate in safety, quality and productivity improvement activities.
• Complete other tasks as assigned, including temporary reassignment.
