Job Purpose :

Manages the planning, development, and implementation of procedures for the testing and evaluation of standard and special devices. Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development,and performance management of the staff. Specifies tests to be performed, compiles data, and makes recommendations for changes required in testing equipment procedures, manufacturing processes, new testing requirements and / or design of testing equipment. Recommends the purchase of test equipment. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Nature of Duties / Responsibilities :

• To follow Sanmina’s process as it pertains to Functional Test Support and Structural Test development and provide the deliverables that introduces new or First Time Build products and reporting of issues to Manufacturing Engineering.
• A significant requirement of the Test Engineer’s role is to monitor yield process performance through MESWeb and enhance through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coaching skills to lead the team towards achieving the overall group objectives such as :

functional and system test support;

Salary Range(annual) : $120,000 - $140,000

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
