Hospital 40 miles south of Boston is seeking full-time, board-certified / board-eligible endocrinologist to join its provider team. Busy patient-focused practice provides comprehensive diabetes care and other endocrine services to patients from throughout the South Shore and Cape Cod. Position is primarily outpatient but some hospital coverage required. There are currently 2 MDs and one NP in the practice; services are provided at a clinic here on the hospital campus as well as at a satellite clinic 15 miles south of hospital. There is one full-time Endocrinologist who takes all diabetes patients plus general endocrinologist patients Theres another part-time physician taking non-diabetic patients Theres a Full-time NP They are in the process of hiring a Certified Diabetes Educator In addition, theres a private practice Endocrinologist handling all in-patient duties. The current hospital practice is outpatient Endocrinology only, but they want to integrate inpatient and share responsibilities with the current private practice Endocrinologist.
