Position Title : Heavy Structures Technician
Location : Everett, Seattle, Washington - Flight to Everett, WA (Included)
Contract Type : Full Time – 12 Months (Leading to Permanent Position)
Job Overview : Repair, overhaul and modify commercial aircraft accessory components and component piece parts as necessary. May occasionally be required to perform other duties or responsibilities in addition to or in conjunction with typical work functions.
Responsibilities :
- Accomplish assigned repair, overhaul and / or modification to include assembly, disassembly, inspection and functional testing tasks as assigned by leadership while utilizing current approved / accepted technical data, component maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, engineering orders or technical drawings
- Provide necessary support to aid engineering during development of repair work scope, tooling and test fixture design as necessary.
- Order parts and materials required for specific jobs assigned utilizing current parts procurement systems.
- Maintain current and up-to-date work orders, shop travelers, and / or work documents including all pertinent paperwork related to work accomplished prior to shift change or work stoppage.
Sheet Metal / Structures :
Assemble and install XL bins, floor structures, monuments, dividers, and trolley blocks using precise layout and alignment techniques per engineering specifications and blueprints.Perform structural drilling, riveting, and bonding operations to fabricate and secure aircraft components, ensuring high strength and integrity of assemblies.Install structural brackets and support assemblies using hand and power tools, while maintaining tolerance and alignment according to manufacturing standards.Read and interpret technical drawings, engineering instructions, and work orders to execute work on large-scale interior and structural components of the aircraft.Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout the build process to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and safety requirements.Utilize special installation tools, such as blind rivet guns, etcUtilize OEM and Engineering drawings to modify aircraft structureComplete specialized tasks, such as flap peening, cold working, etc.Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent.Airframe and Powerplant license highly preferred.2 years of related commercial / military aircraft experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Benefits :

2 years of related commercial / military aircraft experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Airbus A320 family reconfig experience strongly preferred
