We currently have a client in Sacramento, CA looking for a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech)!

Focus Staff is seeking an Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) who is highly motivated and energetic.

Contract Assignment 13 Weeks (Temporary)

Shift : 5x8 Days

Requirements

  • Certificate or diploma from an approved / accredited school of Radiologic / Ultrasound Technology program.
  • National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent; license by the state regulatory agency if applicable.
  • Advance certification in cardiac / vascular specialty (RVT / RCS / RDCS or equivalent) required within 18 months of hire if applicable.
  • BLS certification required.
  • 1?2 years of clinical experience typical for this position.
  • Effective communication skills, human relations skills, data analysis, and problem?solving abilities.
  • Completed AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment, required.
  • CCRN preferred; Skilled Nursing experience in psychiatric or mental health settings preferred.
  • RN with a diploma or associates degree and 2 years experience in a psychiatric or mental health hospital or outpatient clinic.
  • Proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technologist.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

    • Work Experience : At least 2 years of experience.

    Responsibilities

  • Conduct multi?specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures.
  • Work under the direction of the Manager of Ultrasound Services, Medical Director of the Vascular Laboratory, and Radiology Department, and the Administrative Director of the Department of Surgery and Radiology.
  • Follow limited direction from the Medical Director of regional centers and the Clinical Coordinator of Ultrasound Services.
  • Collaborate with experienced staff sonographers in the regional ultrasound program.
