New York State Senate Job Opening

The New York State Senate is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual to fill an entry-level position in our Maintenance and Operations Department.

Key responsibilities :

• Purchase Order Processing
• Contacting vendors for pricing and availability
• Submission to Senate Purchasing Agent or Procurement Officer for approval
• Managing order from placement to delivery
• Bid Processing
• Gathering specifications from relevant vendors
• Assembling documentation outlining Procurement Lobbying Law and Vendor Responsibility
• Managing the bid record-keeping and notifications to winning bidder
• Subscription and Publications Processing
• Maintain subscriptions and publications for all Senate offices
• Providing clerical and administrative support as needed

Minimum qualifications :

Salary range : $30,000 to $35,000, commensurate with education and experience.
