- A working knowledge of commercial & industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required to be successful in this role
- Minimum of 5 years' of relevant experience required (supermarket / rack / industrial refrigeration systems)
- Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage)
- Universal EPA certification
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate, or a degree of higher education in HVACR school program or Extensive experience
- EPA License required, State TDLR required to be obtained
- Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test

This position would be a part of our Service department and would be responsible for the repair, maintenance, & support of industrial refrigeration equipment for our valued customersResponsible for refrigeration repair and maintenance support to accounts in food and beverage and refrigerated storage equipmentPerform routine and emergency service on Freon refrigeration equipment commonly found in refrigeration applicationsUse working knowledge of screw and reciprocal compressors, electrical troubleshooting all common types of systems, & control / alarm systems to perform inspections and preventative maintenance as requiredDemonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures and governing requirementsJob description
HVACR Light Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician - Diamondback Mechanical Group : Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration.
Full Time / Skilled Trade / San Antonio, TX and Surrounding areas. We are based out of La Vernia, TX, and dispatch most of our calls from there, but use online service software for invoicing. Techs are dispatched from their home location.
We are Looking for a Commercial Service Technician with an operating knowledge of plant refrigeration, minor plumbing, water pumps and water softeners, Commercial Air conditioning, Ice Machines, Walk-in coolers, and overall knowledge in the Refrigeration Industry.
