Senior Product Manager - Technical

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. As a Senior Product Manager - Technical you will help create and drive the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for mobility antenna systems targeting maritime and ground transportation customers. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with engineering, design, operations, finance, and executive teams to envision, develop, and launch innovative products and services.

A successful candidate will be both creative and highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into products and applications that customers love. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technology savvy with a proven track record of creating successful consumer products and services. Project Kuiper's success requires leaders who are owners, and who possess the entrepreneurial spirit needed to create new products. As a Sr. Product Manager, you will assume end-to-end product ownership over the mobile antenna systems used to deliver services to our customers.

Key job responsibilities include :

• Manage the product life cycle from inception to launch
• Understand and articulate customer needs, conduct on-going customer research, leverage internal knowledge and expertise, and prioritize feature requirements
• Be a passionate advocate for the customer; provide the voice of the customer
• Inspire the team with the product vision, and work cross-functionally to bring the product to life
• Write detailed market segment and product requirements documents and define use cases, features, and KPIs and drive tradeoff discussions and decisions with the development teams
• Create the business case. Determine the product and service cost and release strategy
• Serve as the product expert assisting marketing with press briefing, industry talks, and whitepapers and participating with business development in product and service discussions with customers

About the team : The Kuiper Antenna Systems Product management team supports the devices that connect our customers to the Kuiper network. We work hand in hand with hardware, software, engineering and operations teams to deliver a great experience for our customers.
