Responsibilities I. JOB SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Prepares and performs a variety of CT procedures.
• Provides patient care during procedures. II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
• Essential : standing, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting, pushing / pulling maximum weight of 50 pounds of force, carrying usual weight of 25 pounds.
• Continuous : reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm / hand motions, frequent gripping of an object.
• Frequent : stooping / bending, lifting weight up to maximum weight of 50 pounds, carrying usual weight of 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.
• Occasional : kneeling, squatting, twisting body.
• Operates CT scanner, injectors, interventional equipment, CT display consoles, computer, telephone, printer. III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS :
• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
• Exposed to communicable diseases. IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : A. EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE :
• Current Hawaii state license as Radiologic Technologist.
• Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.).
• Current BLS / HCP certification. B. EXPERIENCE :
• Two (2) years experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care facility; OR
• One (1) year experience in Radiologic Special Procedures.
• CT experience preferred.
• Experience to demonstrate : o In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with the Medical Staff. o Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
