Job descriptionProven experience in construction plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to plumbing work. Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations. A valid commercial driver's license is preferred but not mandatory. Maintenance Person experience can be beneficial for this role. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to work alongside our Master Plumber. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing and construction, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and the ability to work independently on various projects. This role involves both residential and commercial plumbing tasks, requiring a high level of technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Duties :
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- New construction is the main job.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for various plumbing tasks.
- Perform pipe threading, assembly, and installation of fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites and handling materials.
