The Vice Presidentof Finance will be a strategic thought-partner with a strong business acumen who leads and develops an internal team to optimize financial operations in support of Akin and its affiliates. This includes strategy, finance, business planning, and budgeting. This full-time, hybrid opportunity is located in Seattle, Washington.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Vice Presidentof Finance is responsible for identifying new opportunities to improve efficiency and respond proactively to other departments’ needs. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), they will work closely with senior management to address critical financial planning areas and issues, streamline current systems, and leverage new information technology.
Overseeing a team of up to 5 direct reports, the Vice President of Finance will have ownership over the analysis of existing strategies, processes, and systems. This position will also have, as necessary, access to paper and electronic protected healthcare information (PHI) and confidential identifiable information (CII) to perform related job duties and responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy, Vision, and Leadership
Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping the CFO informed of all critical issues.
Finance
Create financial models as needed to assess the financial impact of strategic decisions.
Team Leadership
Manage workload issues effectively to create a workplace that increases employee retention and strengthens communication within and outside the department.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must successfully complete a driver’s motor vehicle record check.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
