- Our client, a fast-growing technology company specializing in real time mobile analytics, is seeking a passionate Lifecycle Marketing Manager to drive user retention and engagement within their mobile app ecosystem. In this role, you will develop and execute data-driven retention strategies that reduce churn, increase lifetime value, and keep users coming back. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of user behavior, and hands on experience with retention marketing tactics across mobile channels
Key Responsibilities :
Mobile Retention Strategy Development
Design and Implement Retention Plans : Create and execute data-driven retention strategies that align with overall business goalsUser Segmentation : Analyze user data to segment audiences based on behavior, demographics, and engagement levels to tailor retention efforts effectivelyLifecycle Mapping : Develop detailed user lifecycle maps to identify key touchpoints and opportunities for enhancing retentionCampaign Management
Retention Campaigns : Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel retention campaigns using push notifications, in-app messaging, email, and SMSPersonalization : Utilize personalization techniques to deliver relevant content and offers that resonate with different user segmentsA / B Testing : Conduct A / B and multivariate tests on retention initiatives to determine the most effective strategies and tacticsUser Engagement Enhancement
Content Strategy : Collaborate with content and creative teams to develop engaging in-app content that keeps users returningFeedback Loop : Implement mechanisms to gather user feedback and incorporate insights into retention strategiesFeature Utilization : Work with product teams to promote the use of key app features that drive sustained engagementCross-Functional Collaboration
Product Team Alignment : Partner with product managers and developers to align retention initiatives with product updates and feature releasesAcquisition Integration : Coordinate with acquisition to ensure a seamless user journey from onboarding to long-term engagementCustomer Support Coordination : Collaborate with customer support to address user issues that may impact retentionData Analysis & Insights
Performance Tracking : Monitor key retention metrics such as Daily Active Users (DAU), Monthly Active Users (MAU), churn rate, and Lifetime Value (LTV)Cohort Analysis : Perform cohort analyses to understand retention patterns and identify factors influencing user drop-offReporting : Generate regular reports on retention performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvementQualifications :
3-5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, retention marketing, or a similar role within the mobile app industryRetention Tactics Knowledge : Deep understanding of retention strategies, including push notifications, in-app messaging, email marketing, and SMS campaignsA / B Testing Proficiency : Ability to design, execute, and interpret A / B tests to optimize retention initiativesExcellent Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate strategies and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsProject Management : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful execution of retention campaignsUX / UI Understanding : Awareness of mobile UX / UI best practices to enhance user experience and retentionCreative Thinking : Ability to develop innovative retention initiatives that differentiate the app in a competitive marketStrong Analytical Skills : Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Firebase) to derive insights and inform strategiesMarketing Automation Expertise : Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze, OneSignal, Iterable, Clevertap)Location and Compensation :
