Pharmaceutical Processor II
Reports To : Facility Manager
Classification : Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
The Pharmaceutical Waste Returns Processor / DEA Reporting Coordinator plays a key role in the success of our business. The successful individual will be able to accurately, safely and efficiently perform assigned operations and tasks in a pharmaceutical processing and reporting environment. This individual will interact with customers, employees, members of Senior Management, vendors and regulatory representatives. In every case, this individual must present themselves with the professionalism and discretion appropriate for each interactive situation.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage controlled substance inventory and monitor all associated activities
- Active customer relations management for pharmaceutical waste
- Maintain training to assure compliance with applicable DEA regulations
- Maintain accurate records of pharmaceutical returns for destruction in all applicable databases
- Support efforts towards an excellent level of customer satisfaction through active follow up and account management
- Meet DEA reporting and compliance requirements for controlled drug Reverse Distribution and / or destruction and transfer of custody
- Fill new and replacement orders for our pharmaceutical programs
- Receive inbound pharmaceutical shipments and check in
- Responsible for inventorying / tracking pharmaceutical supplies / completing excel record-keeping documents
- Must be able to lift 50 - 70 pound boxes repeatedly
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Certified pharmacy technician requiredPleasant demeanor with other employees, customers, vendors and federal / state regulatorsExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailMust be able to lift 50 - 70 pounds and be "Hands-On"Familiarity with Schedule I-V controlled and OTC / Rx drugsFocused on safety and complianceComfortable utilizing technology and inventory / reporting databasesQuickly adapt to changing business demandsQuickly grasp and adapt to new tasks and protocolsMust have effective communication skillsWorking knowledge of DEA regulations including DEA Forms 41 & 222 as well as ARCOS reportingProficient in Excel / WordEXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Able to work an agreed upon standard scheduleAdditional hours as job duties demandTRAVEL - OTHER
Travel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary (less than 10%)Must have a current, valid driver's licenseAble to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policyWORK CONDITIONS
