Hubbard Day, a 1 : 1 special education school in Stamford, CT is looking to bring a special education teacher to our newly built out 20,000 square foot waterfront campus. We are a rapidly growing full day alternative education program seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and motivated certified special education teacher. • Must have proper CT certification
• Responsibilities include :
• Conducting academic assessments to determine each child’s academic levels and learning style
• Plan, coordinate and facilitate individual and group lessons and activities.
• Preparing and writing progress reports
• Developing and maintaining a structured classroom environment and daily routine
• Collaborating with related service providers and behavior therapists (BCBAs) in the development and implementation of each child’s individualized programming.
• Experience and Skills :
• Master’s Degree in Special Education
• Ability to develop and lead differentiated group lessons based on the needs of each child in the classroom.
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $85,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
