Certified Welding Inspector (Structural Steel) - CWI

Overview

NOVA Engineering is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector / Structural Steel Inspector (CWI) for our Tampa, Florida office. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA / QC tests (masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform Structural Steel Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements
• Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met
• Conduct field testing and inspections
• Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly
• Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others
• Input results and observations into daily reports
