Accounts Receivable Specialist

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist responsible for managing claim payment issues and ensuring timely reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

Examine denied and non-paid claims to identify discrepancies

Communicate with payers to resolve outstanding claims and file appeals

Document all activities accurately in the appropriate systems

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel

1 or more years of relevant experience in medical collections or billing preferred

Understanding of federal and state regulations and payer requirements

Knowledge of claims review and analysis

2 or 4-year college degree preferred
