Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years CVOR Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized role is available for an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician in Oak Ridge, TN. This contract position calls for a skilled professional proficient in scrubbing during cardiovascular surgeries, with strong experience particularly in neuro and orthopedic procedures. Certification by NBSTSA along with current BLS-AHA credentials are mandatory for consideration.

Key Qualifications :

  • Certified CVOR Technician with NBSTSA and BLS-AHA certifications
  • Proven recent experience working in cardiovascular operating rooms, especially in neuro and orthopedic cases
  • Ability to scrub effectively and participate in surgical teams ensuring patient safety and procedural pliance
  • Flexibility to float and adjust to different surgical assignments as required by the team
  • Willingness and availability to work specified schedules, including on-call nights, weekends, and holiday rotations

Responsibilities :

  • Preparing the operating room and surgical instruments for cardiovascular surgeries
  • Assisting surgeons by scrubbing and maintaining the sterile field during procedures
  • Participating in on-call rotations including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts
  • Collaborating with medical personnel to uphold quality standards in patient care
  • Adhering to all facility protocols and safety guidelines

    • Schedule :

  • Monday through Friday, 6 : 45 AM to 3 : 15 PM
  • On-call 3-4 nights per week (3 PM to 7 AM)
  • Weekend shifts every other weekend
  • Holiday shifts as assigned by management
