Senior Life and Disability Underwriter (Remote)

Protective is adding a full-time resource to our Underwriting team based in the corporate office in Birmingham, AL. This position will be allowed to work remotely.

Responsibilities :

• Underwrites Life and Disability applications within authority limits, including impaired risk, assessing medical and financial risk, and evaluating each requirement as received. Ability to Approve, Decline, or Postpone both Life and Disability applications.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Maintain professional relationships with external customers by communicating effectively and promptly, offering reasonable solutions that meet customer needs while protecting the business objectives.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management to create an effective, high-performance work environment.
• Manage assigned workload meeting production and time service standards.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

$68,500 - $100,500 a year

Protective's targeted salary range for this position is $68,500 to $100,500. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective's total compensation package for employees.
