The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of the organization to patients, providing high-quality phlebotomy and specimen processing services in a professional, safe, and customer-focused environment. The PSR II draws quality blood samples, ensures proper specimen handling, and maintains accurate documentation. This role promotes a positive image of the company while upholding process excellence, confidentiality, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection according to established procedures.Verify and document patient identity and labeling to ensure sample integrity.Maintain accurate records, logs, and required documentation.Demonstrate superior phlebotomy skills , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.Follow all safety, compliance, and infection-control protocols.Maintain a safe and professional environment in all assigned locations.Provide exceptional customer service while explaining procedures and building patient trust.Exhibit leadership behaviors and promote process improvement initiatives.Travel as needed to cover multiple sites with minimal notice.Ensure adherence to company policies, dress code, and health and safety standards.Required Experience :
Three years of phlebotomy experience (pediatric, geriatric, and capillary).Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.Customer service experience in a retail, healthcare, or service setting preferred.Data entry and computer proficiency required.Nice-to-Have Experience :
Medical assistant or paramedic training.Experience supporting multiple collection sites or mobile phlebotomy assignments.Required Skills :

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 6 : 30 AM-3 : 00 PM; every other Saturday, 8 : 00 AM-12 : 00 PM.Environment : Diagnostic patient service center; not eligible for remote work.No hospital credentialing required.Benefits :
