Location : Nexus Children’s Hospital – Shenandoah, TX

Schedule : Full-time / PRN (Night Shifts Available)

Position Summary

We’re seeking Psychiatric RNs to deliver specialized care for patients with behavioral and co-occurring medical conditions . You’ll assess mental health status, administer interventions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and therapeutic care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric nursing care following Texas practice guidelines
• Assess, monitor, and document patient mental and physical health status
• Respond promptly to psychiatric and medical emergencies
• Support patient de-escalation and crisis intervention strategies
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and families to implement care plans
