Responsibilities Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital setting Night shift schedule : 3x12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Eight-week assignment over the holiday season with mandatory coverage through the New Year Floating required to NICU, CV PICU, Emergency Department, stepdown, and medical-surgical units as needed EPIC EMR system is used and prior experience is required Must be available to work through the holiday season with no time off requests allowed Assignment involves caring for critically ill pediatric patients and supporting various specialized units as needed Adherence to strict punctuality and attendance policies is required First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis, generally with more than 3 years of experience and Level 1 Trauma background Requirements Active OH or compact state RN license in hand At least 2 years recent PICU nursing experience highly preferred Prior Level 1 Trauma experience preferred for first-time travelers Experience with EPIC EMR is required Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or supervisor Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted Returning candidates may not have worked perm at this system within the past 2 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625086.
