Pride Health is looking a DTS Project Manager to support our client’s medical facility which is 100% remote (candidates must be within 2 hour radius in case needed onsite)

Job Type : DTS Project Manager

Location : 100% remote (candidates must be within 2 hour radius in case needed onsite, Philadelphia, PA)

Duration : 6+ Month Contract

Rate : $70 to 75 / hr

Position Summary

The Project Manager III is responsible for leading, coordinating, and managing advanced-level IT projects, including large-scale system implementations, upgrades, and infrastructure initiatives. This role requires extensive experience in IT project management—particularly with infrastructure, new facilities, and EPIC systems. The PM III acts as a senior contributor and mentor within the PMO, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large, complex IT projects involving infrastructure and EPIC systems.
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage comprehensive project plans for system installations or modifications.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Manage project teams of 8–15 members, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Serve as a mentor to Project Managers (PM I and PM II), providing guidance and leadership.
  • Champion PMO standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Present project updates, risks, and performance metrics to IS and organizational leadership.
  • Build trusted partnerships with sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in IT project management with increasing responsibilities.
  • Proven track record managing advanced-level infrastructure or EPIC-related projects.
  • Strong ability to develop detailed project documentation for complex initiatives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring junior project managers.
  • Ability to present project status and PMO initiatives to executive leadership.
  • Strong business partnership and relationship management skills.
  • Preferred Experience

  • Background in IT operations is a strong plus.
  • Education & Certification

  • Required Education : Bachelor’s degree.
  • Preferred Education : Master’s degree.
  • Required Certification : Active Project Management Professional ( PMP ) certification from the Project Management Institute ( PMI ).
