Inventory Control Coordinator - Sterile Process •1 FTE, Evening •

Description

This position is responsible for coordinating resources necessary for supporting surgical and interventional procedures within the perioperative services division by maintaining inventory controls and support systems for surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.

Required Qualifications :

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire. Or
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire.
• National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire. Or
• National Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire.
• 3 years of recent experience in Sterile Processing or Operating Room.
• 2 years of prior experience with an instrument tracking system, such as SPM.
• 1 year as lead, coordinator or supervisor.
