Account Specialist

We are searching for an Account Specialist to join our team in the high-tech engineering industry. This role is based in Springfield, Vermont and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Account Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling their inquiries, resolving their issues, and selling our cutting-edge products and services.

Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries through various channels such as phone calls, emails, and online chats.
• Sell and promote our company's products and services to both new and existing customers, using techniques such as up-selling and suggestive selling.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our company's products, services, pricing, and technical capabilities to effectively communicate with customers.
• Work with customers to answer questions about service features, options, upgrades, and billing / payment concerns.
• Initiate service orders to begin, upgrade, or terminate service, and handle number porting requests to begin service.
• Accept and post payments to customer accounts, and investigate and resolve customer billing issues.
• Establish payment arrangements with customers according to credit policy guidelines.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and record maintenance.
• Assist with processing batch payments and applying monthly recurring credit card payments.
• Use MS Office tools proficiently to perform tasks and manage customer data.
