Recruiter / Trainer
Unified Public Advocacy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities through advocacy and public engagement. We are seeking passionate individuals to join our mission-driven team in Bucks County, PA. We are hiring a Recruiter / Trainer professional to support our recruitment efforts and administrative operations. This role involves sourcing and training talent, managing office tasks, and occasional travel to support outreach initiatives. You'll play a key role in building our team to advance our advocacy goals.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment : Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles within the organization.
- Training : Conduct onboarding and training sessions for new hires to align with our mission and operational needs.
- Office Clerical Duties : Manage schedules, maintain records, handle correspondence, and ensure smooth office operations.
- Travel : Occasional local and regional travel for recruitment events, community outreach, or training sessions (travel expenses covered).
- Data Management : Track recruitment metrics and maintain applicant databases.
- Collaboration : Work with leadership to refine hiring strategies and support advocacy initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience : Prior experience in recruitment, HR, or office administration preferred; nonprofit experience is a plus.Skills : Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in MS Office or similar tools.Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.Availability : Willingness to travel occasionally (valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred).Attributes : Passion for community advocacy, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.Compensation & Benefits
