Logan Memorial Hospital is seeking a Centralized Scheduler to ensure our patients care is received and delivered in a timely and efficient manner, and is appropriate to the correct care delivery setting vs. the severity of illness of the patient. Also, to identify, assess, and provide for possible post-discharge needs that may cause hospital mandatory over stays. Will work with various computer systems and contact patients for insurance needs and scheduling.

Qualifications - External

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Hospital / clinical experience. 1-2 years office, clerical, and customer service experience. Computer experience.
• Working knowledge of approved criteria used for assessment / decision making.
• Willingness and ability to teach others and help patients.
