As part of the Roche Tissue Diagnostics (RTD) team, you'll be at the forefront of transformative solutions to improve patient outcomes.

The Opportunity : We're looking for an experienced Manager Engineering to lead and develop a team of high-performing multi-disciplined engineers in designing, creating, and improving Roche Tissue Diagnostics products. Your technical expertise and leadership will help advance the development of cutting-edge Pathology lab instruments that make a difference in healthcare outcomes worldwide.

• Oversee, coach, and mentor high-performing mechanical, electrical and systems engineers, ensuring alignment with Roche's technical and organizational goals while supporting their professional development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, development, and engineering teams to achieve optimal balance between cost, performance, schedule, and quality.
• Apply advanced engineering principles and best practices to design, analyze, and deliver reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality diagnostic systems tailored to customer and business needs.
• Lead the development and implementation of state-of-the-art tools, processes, and strategies to innovate and improve engineering capabilities.
• Conduct technical reviews, provide oversight, and guide teams in achieving complex engineering solutions for product development initiatives.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and recruitment to support current and future lifecycle projects.

Who You Are :

The expected salary range for this position is based on the primary location of Arizona is $168,700 - $219,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
