A company is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist who will manage the medical insurance follow-up process for designated accounts.
Key Responsibilities :
Analyze, research, and prepare insurance claims for timely submission to insurance carriers
Respond to inquiries, billing denials, and correspondence efficiently
Document activities in the client's patient accounting system and maintain reports and records
Required Qualifications :
2 years of experience with commercial or third-party insurance claims and medical billing / follow-up
Understanding of various forms, codes (CPT & ICD), and insurance terminology
EPIC experience preferred but not required
Certificates, licenses, or Medicare certification are a plus but not required
