Job description

Summary

According to established procedures, assists the dietitian with the clinical support needed to ensure that each patient receives the correct diet-related foods. Provides communication to patients regarding menu selections.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
  • Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Clinical Nutrition or completion of the American Dietetic Association's Dietetic Technician program.
  • Three to six months of experience in an institutional food service environment.
