Project Scheduler

We have a great opportunity for a  Project Scheduler  who can support a large CAPEX Project and smaller projects within a program utilizing Microsoft Project and Primavera P6. This is for projects in Life Sciences , including biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical devices. The scopes will include civil, structural, mechanical, process piping, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, automation systems, commissioning & validation, regulatory, and operational readiness.

On-site position : Thousand Oaks, CA with some Hybrid Opportunity.

Responsibilities :

• Develop quality schedule baselines.
• Versatile people skills, from the field foreman to the vice president.
• Manage schedule and perform updates.
• Perform what-if schedule scenarios, advanced schedule analysis, and variance analysis reports. Manage schedule changes and analyze change impact.
• Summarize schedule status in a narrative and create status reports and presentations for management.
• Perform resource planning and optimization.
• Facilitate project and schedule meetings.
• Facilitate pull planning sessions.
• Produce meaningful schedule reports and analysis.
• Ensure schedules are developed in compliance with corporate and department requirements and contractual requirements.
