Assist with the transactions and inventories of accountable equipment per DoD, USAF, AFMC and AFRL material management policies. Utilizes Integrated Logistics System – Supply (ILS-S) and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) to follow numerous steps in maintaining electronic record keeping activities. Utilize subject-matter knowledge and judgment to select appropriate posting to accurately maintain the data systems with current property disposition. Sample transactions completed by this position include : Researching cataloguing data to create records within the data systems. Processing issues / transfers / shipment and turn-in of accountable equipment to establish / maintain / terminate accountable records. Generate reports from the data systems for equipment sub-custodians to monitor and control account inventories. Coordinates with sub-custodians to apply Item Unique Identification (IUID) labels and submit transactions to applicable data systems that associates the label to equipment serial number record. Assists Equipment Management Lead with providing initial and refresher training to equipment custodians. Provides customer service to AFRL customers and liaises with host Logistics Readiness Squadron for related supply issues. Maintains equipment management records per material management and records disposition policy. Maintains a suspense system for incoming work in order to fulfill requirements in accordance with performance thresholds.
