• Work Monday through Thursday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, and Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM
• Full-time position providing radiation therapy to patients according to established practices and standards
• Review prescriptions and diagnosis, act as liaison between providers and support staff
• Prepare equipment including immobilization devices, treatment, and protection devices
• Maintain records, reports, and files related to patient care
• May assist in localization of tumor and dosimetry procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills for physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety criteria appropriate to assigned population
• Maintain required core competencies and comply with facility policies and procedures
• Graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and accredited radiology program or equivalent required
• Two to five years of clinical experience preferred
• IMRT experience and LDR / HDR experience preferred
• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Current American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) card required
