Job Description

The Mid-Level Real Estate Lender Finance Associate will have varied responsibilities :

• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate finance agreements and documents.
• Provide legal advice to New York and US wide clients on real estate lender finance matters.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to structure complex real estate finance deals effectively.
• Conduct due diligence and identify potential risks in lender finance transactions.
• Support the legal team in developing innovative solutions for client needs in the real estate finance space.
• Manage multiple client matters simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Real Estate Associate - Lender Finance should have :

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the New York bar (or ability to be sworn in).
• Experience in real estate lender financing.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail - agreements and documentation.
• Proficiency in managing complex real estate finance transactions from start to finish.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team while independently managing tasks.
• An interest in staying informed about legal trends in real estate lender finance.
