About the Job
Competitive pay : $27.00 - $37.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Great Schedule : Monday-Friday
Shift Times : 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm
Duration : 3 month contract; potential to extend
Start Date : ASAP!

Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of 12 years of scheduling experience in the ORKnowledge of medical terminologyEPIC experiencePACS experienceStrong computer skills (Windows, Excel, Word)Ability to handle high-volume callsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm in stressful situationsExperience in a busy, fast-paced environmentSkillset and Abilities
Knowledge of and ability to use medical terminology in performing dutiesKnowledge of computer systems and software used in functional areasAbility to speak and write effectively at a level appropriate for the jobStrong multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to foster relationships, build trust, and collaborate with providers, nurses, staff, and patientsStrong punctuality, adaptability, and attention to detailAbility to provide excellent customer service and respond calmly under pressureResponsibilities
Schedule pre-op, new, and return patient appointments (including imaging studies and clinic visits)Perform case intake and case scheduling in collaboration with Nurse PractitionersManage and respond to a high volume of calls, providing clear communication to patients and staffUpload radiology images to PACS and Life ImageObtain and scan outside medical records via RightFax; distribute records as appropriateScan and maintain patient records in the systemRun reports across multiple locations (300P, 500P, OSC, Hoover, Emeryville, CCSB)Assist managers with scheduling tasks, patient movement, and schedule adjustments as a super userMaintain patient follow-up after proceduresCommunicate with referring offices and physicians to ensure accurate scheduling and patient coordinationAttend weekly staff meetings and participate in cross-training to support clinic operationsEnsure all administrative and scheduling duties meet / exceed organizational service standardsAbout Us
