About the Position Position / Specialty : MRI Tech at Main Hospital Daily Caseload per tech : varies : Inpatient, ER, and Outpatient Shift : Will work 4x10hrs 1130A-10P Monday-Thursday Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Yes, to other buildings on campus Required / Preferred Years of experience REQ : 1 year minimum First Timers Accepted : Yes Cert / Lic REQ : BLS, MR (ARRT) Certification / Licenses accepted : ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Experience REQ : Siemens experience Experience Pref : Level 1 Trauma Experience Radiation Badge : NOT REQUIRED Misc. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions : All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager / units needs Guaranteed Hours : Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility : Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma : Magnet, Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds : 865 Scrub Color : Teal top, black bottom Charting : Epic Parking Cost : Nights and weekends cost only. • Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
