Insurance Verification Specialist

RMH is looking to hire an efficient insurance verification specialist. A successful candidate should have a deep understanding of insurance benefits, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities :

• Communicate with payors to verify eligibility and benefits, confirm anticipated patient out of pocket expense, and determine next steps for prior authorization.
• Prioritize urgent benefits.
• Create and distribute patient benefit letters
• Document progress in project management system.
• Develop single case agreements if necessary
• Collaborate with admissions team to provide information in a timely fashion.
• Coordinate efforts with billing team.
• Create a positive patient experience
• Actively participate as a team member in resolving issues as they are identified
