The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks applicants for the position of Seasonal Laborer II, Neponset Labor Yard, Boston. Duties include performing various manual labor tasks, assisting in the work of skilled tradesmen and craftsmen, installing drainage, sewer, and water pipelines, digging trenches, setting and repairing curbing, planting and maintaining trees, flowers, and shrubs, and operating hand held power tools and motor vehicles.

Salaries are based upon full-time / 40 hours worked per week. Work schedules and days off are at the discretion of the Supervisor. This position may require working weekends and / or holidays.

Minimum entrance requirements include at least six months of full-time experience in performing manual labor in connection with general construction or maintenance work.
