Join our dedicated team as a Clinical Laboratory Technician I, where you will play a key role in providing accurate clinical testing services in various sections, including general laboratory, Blood Bank, and Microbiology. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring timely results through quality control, performance improvement, and effective communication with medical professionals regarding critical values. You will also be involved in clerical duties, phlebotomy, and the dispensing of blood products as required by our medical staff.

Responsibilities :

• Exemplify our company philosophy and core values in the service provided to all customers.
• Perform specimen collection, ensuring proper handling and processing while following established protocols.
• Conduct laboratory tests across multiple sections including Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Blood Bank, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor quality control measures, performing analyses according to established guidelines and documenting results.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment, troubleshooting minor issues when necessary.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training for personal growth and to assist new associates and students.
• Adhere to all relevant compliance and safety standards including CLIA, CAP, AABB, and OSHA protocols.
• Utilize laboratory information systems effectively for reporting and managing results.
• Successfully complete annual competency assessments as required.
