About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance (QA) to lead and grow our QA function. This role will oversee a talented team of five QA engineers and drive the strategic direction of our testing processes, automation frameworks, and overall product quality.
As the Sr. Manager, QA, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Development, Product, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases, efficient test automation, and continuous improvement in QA practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 5 QA engineers, providing technical guidance, career development, and performance feedback.
- Oversee all QA activities, including test planning, execution, and automation.
- Drive test automation initiatives using Selenium and related tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Define and implement QA best practices, processes, and metrics to ensure consistent quality across releases.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
- Manage QA environments, tools, and documentation to support scalable and reliable testing processes.
- Advocate for quality across the organization and champion continuous improvement in software delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).7+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role.Strong experience with Selenium automation frameworks (Java, Python, or similar).Proven track record of implementing and scaling QA automation in Agile environments.Experience with CI / CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on involvement when needed.
