Java Server Developer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java Server Developer in Austin, TX (onsite). Are you an early-career Java Developer (1-3 years of experience or strong internships) eager to build and maintain real-world applications? Join our server-side development team powering global financial planning software.What You'll Do :

• Design, enhance, and maintain backend services and APIs for core applications, including data integrations and reporting features
• Build robust, user-focused application logic and business rules to support client needs
• Write clean, modular Java code aligned with best practices, contributing to high-impact, client-facing features

Note : This role is focused on server-side application development. Experience with data pipelines, Kafka, or big data tools is not required and not the focus of this position.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
