Job descriptionAverage Patients per Day : Super Track (group average) : 14 patients / day Per Provider : patients / day System : Resource & Patient Management System (RPMS) Durango Airport : 90-minute drive Albuquerque International Airport : 3.5-hour drive Flagstaff Regional Airport : 4-hour drive NNMC is part of the Shiprock Service Unit (SRSU), the largest geographical service unit of Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS). Facilities within SRSU : NNMC : 69-bed medical center, main administrative hub Four Corners Regional Health Center Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center Staffing : 50 physicians 75 inpatient beds 5-bed Intensive Care Unit Emergency Department (ED) : Provides 24 / 7 emergency medical treatment Designations : Level IV Trauma Center (since 2021) Certified Peds Ready by the New Mexico EMS for Children and the University of New Mexico Child Ready Program Always staffed with at least one physician SuperTrack shift options : 10-hour shifts Start times : 7 AM, 8 AM, Noon, 2 PM Referral Centers : University of New Mexico (Albuquerque) : Specialized adult and pediatric transfers San Juan Regional Medical Center (Farmington, NM) : Level III trauma center, STEMI center, Primary Stroke Center (30-minute drive) Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses Conduct comprehensive exams for adults and children Participate in quality improvement and patient safety projects Collaborate with physicians and specialists to optimize patient care Commitment to rural, tribal, and underserved healthcare Compassionate, mission-driven approach to social medicine Interest in joining a dynamic, socially impactful healthcare enterprise Certifications & Licenses : Board-certified ACLS & BLS Active, unrestricted NP or PA-C license & DEA (from any US state or territory) No lapse in practice exceeding six months before assignment Malpractice Coverage : Includes tail insurance Competitive Compensation & flexible career options (including opportunities for rotating domestic & international work) Supportive Community : Engaged network of social medicine practitioners
