Minimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required.

Position : Onsite School Paraprofessional (Full time School District Opening)

Hours : 37.5Hours Weekly

Pay : $26

Contract Position : Now End of 24 / 25 School Year (Renewal Opportunity for 25 / 26)

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or equivalent AND one of the following :
ParaPro Assessment Score of 455 or higher
Pearson Assessment Score of 220 or higher
Associates Degree
72 Quarter Hours or 48 Semester Hours of college coursework
Previous paraprofessional experience is required
Ability to work effectively with students with diverse needs
fortable supporting students with physical and personal care needs (as applicable)

Available Openings :

Middle School (1 : 1 Support) : Work directly with a student requiring individual support throughout the school day.

High School (2 Positions 1 : 1 Support) : Assist students with their IEP goals, academic engagement, and daily classroom tasks.

Elementary School (2 Positions) : Provide general classroom support, including some toileting responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities :

Co-teaching lessons under the Teacher's guidance, leading small groups or individual instruction and discussions, and reviewing classwork.

Organizing the classroom and teaching materials, monitoring the classroom during lessons, and minimizing distractions and disruptions.

Supervising students in and out of the classroom.

Helping Teachers and students with extracurricular activities and school functions.
