Senior Accountant

Growing manufacturing company located in Central NJ has immediate need for a Senior Accountant. This role is a new headcount and will be part of a tenured team.

Responsibilities to include :

Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial entries in accordance with GAAP.

Oversee the general ledger postings, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all accounting records.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.

Supplement international accounting team for posting and reconciliations.

Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial transactions and reporting.

Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits; prepare necessary documentation and respond to inquiries.

Support tax preparation and filing, working closely with external tax advisors.

Oversee daily cash operations, assist with cash flow forecasting, and ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs.

Requirements :

The Senior Accountant should have a degree in Accounting and prior experience working in public accounting. CPA or MBA +++ Salary in the 100-110k range plus bonus.
