Summary :
The SMT Operator is responsible for monitoring andmaintaining the equipment used to create electronic circuits and surfacemount technology.
JOB DUTIES; Include but are not limited to the following :
SMT operation and process using various software’sVerify PCB identification, program name, conveyor width, solder paste, mistake proofingTroubleshoot various pieces of equipmentPerforms operation, setup, and product changeoverInstalling and repairing other electronics components such as resistors and capacitorsAble to perform visual inspections of SMT assembliesAble to maintain accurate job tracking recordsKnowledgeable of manufacturing instructionsHands on problem solving, reading / preparing work instructions.Perform all levels of preventive maintenance of SMT equipment.Occasionally change feeders, splice reels, scan partsOther duties assigned as requiredPractice 6sRequirements
Skills / Qualifications :
Focus on Quality ControlSafety management mindsetDexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very smallAble to identify electronic components, polarities, and location designators.Understanding of Bill of Materials & Drawings.Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and organizational skills1- 10 years previous experience in electronic manufacturingEducation, Experience, & Licensing Requirements :
High school diploma or GEDKnowledge of pick and place automated assembly machines.You should be proficient in :
