Job Summary :

Supermicro IT team is seeking a seasoned Sr. Network Engineer to lead the global network engineering team projects in domains such as LAN, WAN, SDWAN, Wireless, Firewalls, MPLS, BGP, Cloud interconnectivity, Vendor management, Network planning, design, implementation, and management of extensive infrastructure across multiple geographical locations. Strong leadership, project management skills, and the ability to navigate the intersection of networking and security are crucial for success in this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Global Network Planning and Design :

• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of on-premises and cloud-based network infrastructure on a global scale.
• Develop and implement comprehensive global network strategies and solutions that align with business objectives.
• Design and optimize routing protocols, including BGP, SD-WAN and MPLS, for efficient data flow within the organization's worldwide network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud-based services into the global network architecture.
• Design and implement robust routing solutions to ensure optimal data transmission and network efficiency globally.
• Optimize WAN performance, addressing latency and bandwidth challenges, and implementing redundancy for high availability.
• Firewall networking, intercampus routing, SDN - Software defined networking, DR site routing, network monitoring experience is a must.

Salary Range

$140,000 - $160,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
