Job Description & Requirements
License & Certifications :
Minimum : Current NYS RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (through RQI system during orientation), Basic Coronary Care within 6 months, CPI certification within 90 days.
Preferred : Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association within 2 years, TNCC recommended within 2 years.
Professional Skills & Competencies :
Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and foster teamwork through effective role modeling.
Computer literate; experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records preferred.
Patient Care & Customer Focus :
Provides age-appropriate care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Applies knowledge of growth and development principles to assess and address patient-specific needs.
Upholds the Healing Environment principles : ensures safety, promotes dignity and respect, and fosters well-being through professional, attentive, and compassionate care.
