As they continue to expand and enhance their capabilities, they are looking for a meticulous and motivated Associate Quality Engineer to join their team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring their products consistently surpass industry standards and meet customer expectations.
Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures in compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct detailed inspections and audits of manufacturing processes and final products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Analyze data from quality tests and inspections to detect trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
- Lead investigations and corrective action plans in response to non-conformances or customer complaints.
- Support supplier quality management by performing audits and evaluating supplier performance.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, certifications, and quality metrics.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other relevant aerospace quality standards.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant
- Exposure to ISO 9001 or another QMS
- Exposure to component manufacturing (can be from an internship)
- Understanding of quality core tools (PPAP / APQP, FMEA, FAI, etc)
- Degree in engineering preferred
