Who We Are

The United States Tennis Association, Northern California Section (USTA NorCal), based in Alameda, California, is a not-for-profit volunteer-based organization promoting and growing the game of tennis across Northern California and Northwest Nevada since 1953.

As one of 17 geographic sections of the governing body of tennis in the United States, USTA NorCal is deeply rooted in its commitment to building an active and engaged tennis community. USTA NorCal engages audiences across the whole community and brings tennis to a diverse set of players of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Broaden the base of participants, patrons, and supporters through targeted outreach strategies.

Initiate and facilitate community outreach meetings that lead to new activations or expanded USTA programming.

Work both independently and collaboratively, partnering with department managers to align vision and execution.

Oversee the development and delivery of training and educational programs for clients, partners, and community organizations.

Build and nurture community relationships and partnerships that support USTA NorCal initiatives.
