HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Missouri.

Requested Skill Set :

Trauma patient management, IV administration of vasoactive medications, ventilator management, chest tube management, care of post-op surgical patients, cardiac rhythm identification and management, hemodynamic monitoring, care of stroke patient

Must have :

Advanced skills needed :  Hemodynamic and ventilator management

Procedures performed on unit :    Chest tube placement, ventriculostomy, moderate sedation, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia; ECMO, arterial line and central line placement

Certifications Required :

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 32

Patient Ratios : 2 : 1

Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit Secretary 0730-0000

Type of equipment :

Documentation system : Meditech

Scheduling requirements : 3 12 hour shifts / Every other weekend (or 4 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule period)

Floating policy : To like units : NSICU, Cardiac Telemetry units (4 North and 4 Central) Progressive Care Unit (4 West), Burn Unit, ED Inpatient Overflow, other units as per overall hospital needs

Patient Experience requirements : 2 years ICU experience, prefer ICU experience

Hospital Specifics-

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
