Job descriptionLead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety programs aligned with OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI standards Create, review, and enforce plant safety policies and procedures Assign, track, and report on all regulatory and safety training across the facility Manage workers compensation cases including medical visits, light duty assignments, reporting, and financial forecasting Train employees on hazard identification, conduct audits, develop corrective actions, and monitor progress Oversee the health and safety budget including PPE, supplies, and first aid resources Prepare and present weekly and monthly safety performance reports Act as Medical First Responder and lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and case management Conduct safety reviews as part of Management of Change processes Support safety and compliance through additional responsibilities as assigned Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of safety leadership experience in a manufacturing setting. In-depth understanding of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA standards, and Workers Compensation regulations. Demonstrated success in hazard identification, incident investigation, and case management. Current certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Capable of working autonomously and effectively partnering with plant leadership. Open to occasional travel (up to 10 days per year). Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in diverse plant environments (e.g., heat, cold, noise, elevated areas).
